T and S3 Originally uploaded by
Antof9. The last time I wrote, I mentioned it had been a water weekend. One day at the pool, one day at the lake with Uncle M2 and his family. This is the day at the lake :)
So Uncle M2 and his wife (SIL) and their daughters A and S and SIL's sister and her family all met up at the lake. I have no idea what lake it was, but they had a good shot of
Mount St. Helen's from it.
At one point, my sister was in the tube by herself, being pulled at break-neck speed. She was even forced over the wake, in attempts to knock her off. They may have been successful (I've forgotten parts of the story already), but either way, S3 was VERY concerned about his mom! The way the story was told involved something like "what'd you do to my mom?" with a very angry look, until he was assured that she was ok. Suffice to say that he was NOT happy with D (SIL's BIL and the boat driver at the time).
Uncle M2 rented a Waverunner (jetski -- same thing), and they used it not only for fun, but to ferry people back and forth between the land and the boat. Poor S2 happened to be on it once at the beginning of the day when it capsized, and again near the end. He didn't complain much or anything, but the second time it happened was when his dad got on, and his only comment was, "Daddy, can you not do that again?"
Evidently, neither S1 nor S2 were adversely affected by the tipping over of the waverunner, as they went for a ride on it with their dad and had a blast. The next day when Dad was at work, the boys told my sister what his instructions had been: "if Daddy falls off, don't push any buttons."
T and S3 on one tube, S1 on the other Originally uploaded by
Antof9. Tubing is one of my favorite things -- I wish I'd been with them! Once again, my sis and S3 on one tube, and S1 (the big boy) on a tube by himself. Evidently at one point, he bounced way up in the air (maybe going over a wake?), but in the end, landed back in his tube, giggling.

zz-neena, those two girls are the ones we were talking about for some young male relatives of yours :)
The two boys on the right in red are brothers, and cousins of my nieces (on my SIL's side). The two girls are Uncle M2's daughters, S and A, and cousins on the "of9" side of the four boys in front who are (left to right) S1, S4, S2 and S3. That's a convoluted way of saying a bunch of cousins, not all of whom are related.
