This was the right touch of banter and sincere concern for me. It's nice to see James depicted as being vulnerable; that's a trait a lot rarer in fic than I wish it was. Very enjoyable! :)

Oh, this was really good! I feel ashamed for liking the idea of this universe's Lily/Harry, but...yeah, you really made me like it.

Ah, see, it made me feel ashamed writing it, too! But the idea came into my head and wouldn't leave me alone. :)

Basically, I was thinking that Lily ended up having feelings for James at the end of school, but she never acted on them, and so James assumed that he would never win her affections and they parted ways after graduation. Sad, but Harry's there so obviously they got together later! :D

It had been a nice, sunny day by the lake before the sky opened up and heavy droplets fell from the heavens. Only Remus was caught up in it, having opted to stay away from Sirius and James’s prank fest in the dormitories.

Just my luck he thought, trudging his way up all the 17 secret staircases, dripping into the Gryffindor common room, and heading up the last of the stairs - into his own bedroom ( ... )

Super props for a take on Peter that I haven't seen before. I've seen loss of love drive him to the opposite side. I've seen lack of love. But never love. You know, even if he doesn't love her.

I really like the one sentence paragraphs. They serve as exceptionally good transitions. Not choppy at all.

And, yes, I get the name choice.
