Oh, this was really good! I feel ashamed for liking the idea of this universe's Lily/Harry, but...yeah, you really made me like it.

So tell me, what happened to James? Pretty please?

Ah, see, it made me feel ashamed writing it, too! But the idea came into my head and wouldn't leave me alone. :)

Basically, I was thinking that Lily ended up having feelings for James at the end of school, but she never acted on them, and so James assumed that he would never win her affections and they parted ways after graduation. Sad, but Harry's there so obviously they got together later! :D

Very sweet! Having Lily and James apart at this point makes her meeting with Harry even more poignant. :)

So, (and I'm basing this off your reply to museme87) Lily meeting Harry makes her eventually realize her feelings for James, and then that leads to Harry being born in the first place?
