Super props for a take on Peter that I haven't seen before. I've seen loss of love drive him to the opposite side. I've seen lack of love. But never love. You know, even if he doesn't love her.

I really like the one sentence paragraphs. They serve as exceptionally good transitions. Not choppy at all.

And, yes, I get the name choice.

Thanks, love!

Gotta say, if you don't get the allusion, the drab probably sounds like it was written by a crazy person. Or, you know, crazier.

this allusion turned me into a giant puddle of classically-squeeing goop. seriously, this is really good. i love it.

I think the connection to history/myth is fantastic. It totally works! I've seen this slant on Peter only once before and love it - great job! :)

I can totally see Peter being played this way...knowing it was son and still...

Ooh, a Peter fic! I feel like something like this totally could've happened to Peter, he would've been very easy to take advantage of... I hope we'll get to learn more about him at some point. Anyway this was a great drabble, and really, really well-written!

I KNEW my school made me read the Iliad for a reason. See? Quite a few years late, but there it is.

That was fantastic, though. I got to the end and smiled because it was just so poetic.
