I really hope someone puts together a spreadsheet of the stuff being nominated when the time comes, so I will know what I need to do.

They have!

OMG. I had not seen The War Was In Color. Heartbreaking! I'm very much a Clint girl (points to icon) but OMG that gave me more insight into Steve than either CA:TFA or The Avengers. THAnk you so much!

i figured about halfway thru white collar that sam was really neal's dad, because it seemed like just the kind of cliched and vaguely obvious "twist" that the show would do. and yeah, there was a lot of dumb and personally i'm tired of all the secret-keeping and lack of trust because it seems to exist just to prolong the tension, and that's lazy writing. and as much as i like watching peter and neal boxing - i loved the montage when mozzie and jones were choreographing their fight - the emotion behind it was stupid and forced.

i think the ptb have been suggesting that neal's dad wasn't dirty for a while, tho. they haven't said it explicitly, but all the stuff about how he was framed and his division was full of corrupt cops and on and on seems to point in that direction. it won't be any surprise if that's what comes out. not good with the surprises, this show.

Dumb and cliched and I agree about the lazy writing. I don't know if having these terrible long-term arcs is a network mandate, but they aren't very good so they should just stop with them and have the series arc be Neal and Peter's relationship without Nazi loot or Neal's dad or whatever the hell.

Frothy cons! El being awesome! Neal in hats! That is what I want from this show.

yes! more froth! more el! and more june! i would watch the hell out of that show. it always seemed to be fairly heavy on the style anyway, rather than the deep substance. and i don't know why the season-long plot arc can't concentrate on neal and peter's relationship without having to bog down in nazi loot and secrets and neal's dad and all that other ridiculous crap.

Yeah, I don't know. They're not good at the other stuff, so they should just leave it be.

Neal constantly doing the "Why can't you trust me (even though I lie to you over and over and over again)?" routine is a reason why I had to stop watching the show. It's repetitious, and Peter deserves better.

It's so ridiculous. I haven't given up the show - I enjoy it on the most shallow level generally - but it definitely irritates me.
