Some things didn't happen today.
For instance, I did not get somewhat flustered at work when a customer started talking about a British man called Lee.
Also, I was not so phenomenally lazy while making dinner tonight that I turned the steak over with my fingers. -
Note to self.....
....do not watch an emotionally charged episode focussed on a character/actor that you are invested in last thing before going to sleep when you know you're going to have to focus at work the next day. -
How did I not know about this before?
So, I was doing a google image search for Jamie Bamber, as you do when you can't sleep, and I came across this. There are plenty of strange photos of Jamie out there, I still don't understand the lemon. But there's something about this one that is extra creepy.
I have no idea what a jedi chef is, but they certainly have a lot of photos.

Zak lives!
Because I am a geek, I'm watching Stargate from the beginning. Guess who I spotted? Zak from BSG. He even has lines and stuff. Now if only any of the other BSG actors had showed up on the show.......
Although, there is an episode in season 2 where they rather labour the point that he's got a big crush on Sam - another strong, blond, military woman -

Writing never works like this for me. But I just sat down and wrote this after the first few lines (which are no longer the first lines) popped into my head and I had to get them down or they'd disappear. This is my first attempt at BSG fic, please be nice. Its quite AU (deviates after Kara & Lee meet but before the mini). I know its a bit self indulgent, its just the mood I'm in right now.
