And I'm ready for the bake sale/fund raiser for the Humane Society tomorrow in Katherine's honor.
It will be a small comfort that in losing her, we are helping the hundreds of animals being surrendered in these hard economic times.
And...looking forward to a 3 day weekend too. Yippee skippee. -

Nothing much new today....except nobody I know died. Which is a good thing.
Looking for good ideas on how to achieve some closure with the Katherine thing given there will not be a public rite of passage for her death.
Other than that, contemplating what to do for some down time at the end of the month.

Neurosurgeon visit today.
Got the A-OK to return to work this am from my neurosurgeon. Will see him again in about a month after some x-rays are taken to see how things are healing on the inside. It was a relief to see him though as I've had right shoulder pain since my surgery (was not there before) and he explained that it was referred pain from what they do when they re- ( Read more... ) -
