After Semana Santa (mid April), I worked on a couple group projects in my Surrealism and Mujeres classes. So instead of going to Egypt, Deedee and I went to Tunisia where her Dad lives. It was much much cheaper than Egypt would have been and it was really cool. We had some issues with the tickets and we were scrambling around at the last minute because our tickets had not come in the mail on time. This past weekend, my roommate Deedee and I went to France with two of our Mexican friends, Mauricio and Fermin. We rented a car and headed up to the Pyrenees for about a 4 hour drive. Last week we started classes and it sucks because I was enjoying my 2 month winter vacation. Last night we had dinner cooked for us by some italians! Deedee knows this German boy Roberto and he brought 3 of his friends- 2 italians and a spanish boy over to our apartment and they cooked us some delicious pasta and topped it off with 4 bottles of wine between 5 people yikes! Last night a bunch of us went to our friend Arno´s apartment to drink for a bit until we went to some bars. I leave from Columbus, OH at 4:20 pm Jan 31 and arrive at Atlanta. From there, I'll be flying to Madrid, Spain at 9 pm and I'll arrive at 11:20am the following morning. Then I have a flight from Madrid to Pamplona and I think I get there around 2:15pm their time. That's 8:15am EST. Long day tomorrow. Hope it goes well. I'm really only nervous ( Read more... )
