As of lunchtime she's still on a respirator but improving - fingers crossed she'll soon be home. Mum has been moved from high dependency to ordinary ward and aside from worrying about her daughter and feeling miles away from her - they are on different floors of the hospital is doing okay.

A lovely lovely friend of mine has given birth today to a little girl (after something like 4 or 5 lots of IVF) - she had to be born by emergency ceasarian because of complications and is now in intensive care as she has breathing difficulties - please keep your fingers crossed that all will be well asap and that she'll be home soon with a ( Read more... )

I love Mr Harryhausen and all his fabulous works.....especially the fighting skeletons.

Tonight on BBC7 at 8pm, I listened to it earlier and it was very good, could have been very hammy and camp and very occasionally it was but on the whole it was very good indeed. If so - want to talk about it, I'm alternately gripped, saddened, enthralled....can't put it down, about two thirds of the way through so don't tell me what happens at the end yet.
