I mentioned in yesterdays post.......
As of lunchtime she's still on a respirator but improving - fingers crossed she'll soon be home. Mum has been moved from high dependency to ordinary ward and aside from worrying about her daughter and feeling miles away from her - they are on different floors of the hospital is doing okay.

The family must be climbing the walls. Thoughts firmly with all of them. I hope she gets out of the woods soon.

That all sounds pretty positive. Here's hoping that a distressing situation continues to improve and is resolved asap. She'll be one treasured little girl after all this...

She's a treasured little girl already :-)
And fingers crossed for further improvements. Hope you and yours are all okay, nephew has had cold past few days and couldn't breathe and feed at the same time the other day but is on the mend now. Mum is baby sitting him again this evening and said yesterday 'he is the centre of my universe'. She's such a soppy old woman *grin*

We're all fine, cheers. James has had a bit of a growth spurt , putting on 11oz last week. I bet he's still smaller than your nephew, though.

Did you know, you can't really blow a child's nose properly until they are @ 2 years old. You can buy a scary-looking device called a 'nasal aspirator', which you place under child's nostril and then suck the snot down and into the handy collecting bulb at its base. I'm totally praying that James doesn't develop any colds or allergies until he's at least 3...!

I've often wished for a snot vacuum cleaner when I've got a cold myself and am either sick of blowing or so bunged up that I can't.

11oz in a week - goodness, what have you been feeding him? ;-)

Thank you sweetie, big improvement from yesterday to today so hopefully tomorrow will see an even bigger improvement.....or at the very least Mum to be out of a wheelchair and so no longer dependant on someone being around to wheel her to see her little girl.
