Life is just that much better now.

You know, I'm all for being able to drive around in cars & trucks and stuff; but I could care less whether we're using gasoline, hydrogen cell, or rutabaga as fuel. If anything, we've been underpricing the absolute cost (including environmental and political impact) for commuting and traveling with gasoline all along. Finding out that your lifelong dream career is really unrewarding can be feel like a punch to the gut. I recently discovered that don't want to be a teacher. I loathe classroom discipline and the politics of the job. These are reflections of my personality and as such are a bitch to change even if I desired to change them. I remember having this conversation with a friend. He believed that the reason he had his driver's license taken away was not necessarily because of the fact that he began to have epileptic seizures, but primarily out of a karma-like response to his teenage drunken driving escapades.
