The pool was lit up with green Japanese lanterns and green-and-red chili pepper lights. Chips and small hors' doevres were laid out at tables, with waiters and bartenders standing by. The sound system was blasting upbeat party music.

Small signs saying 'PRIVATE PARTY' were tacked up at the entrances.

Parker had grabbed a margarita and snagged a seat at the shallow end of the pool, dipping her toes in the water as sipped her drink.

At eight o'clock precisely, Parker got up on the diving board, and blew a whilstel that she'd acquired from somewhere.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Our entertainment on this night of nights, the last night Bridge and Xander are no longer Bridge-and-Xander--"

The male servers and bartenders all suddenly stripped off their shirts and pants to reveal shorts. And remaining bow ties.

"The gentleman of Neptune's Dream Caterers!"

"WOOOO!" Parker called out. "SURPRISE, GUYS!" She pointed at Bridge and Xander. "GROOMS!"

The dancers started to do a routine aimed at Bridge and Xander, grinning at them as they sang "Macho Man" and the music went into the Village People.
