TOR: My husband is beta testing The Old Republic. I'm not an MMO person (I'll play TOR because it's Star Wars, not because I play well with others), but he is, and he's impressed by what he's played so far. Terra Nova: Exactly the clichéfest one should have been expecting of a network show about time travel (through a not!Stargate) and dinosaurs. The list is not quite as bad as it first appears, since some of these shows are ending soon for the season, while others won't start up for some weeks yet. I'm also counting on a cull of the new shows due to early cancellation and/or being so awful I'll only last an episode or two.

Just turned on the TV, which was on the channel formerly known as Skiffy, and wondered how in the hell I managed to miss the episode of SGA that appeared to be on. Sheppard's uniform seemed a bit Marineish, but whatever.

Missed all of last night's TV because we were down in Boston with a friend and one of H's employees watching our beloved Habs beat the Bruins 3-1. Very satisfying! Boston fans are quite mouthy before the games - and after, if the Bruins win - but when Montreal beats them, they get downright quiet afterward (by drunk Boston dude standards). Heh. ( Read more... )
