Between spending a week in Colorado visiting my father and then coming back home to the NHL playoffs (GO HABS GO!) and my husband's business completing a significant expansion, I've been sadly remiss in keeping up with LJ/DW. However, I am back.

Hey! Did you hear the big Sam Witwer news? He got nominated for an Emmy for his voice acting as Darth Maul on Clone Wars! Pretty awesome!

Justified is my favourite show at the moment. I've lost interest in a lot of TV shows, and can easily wait a year or two before catching up (see: Dr Who. I only watched the 2011 Christmas special yesterday, the one with the widow, and I have a lot of catching up to do), but Justified is the one I have to watch every week when it's on. It makes me so happy! I was talking about it with my brother, and we both agreed that there aren't many shows that manage to be so consistently good over four seasons. Even my favourite shows have had some big fluctuations, but not this one. That kind of low key excellence fills me with joy. And it has one of my favourite casts ever. Genius casting director, even for the bit parts:

Going back and rewatching S1 of Justified after all this time made me really realize that, yes, it has always been that good. As it still was in S4. It's like TV magic! I don't know how they do it.
