 "Ego" is my first (out of three) film projects for my Cinema Production One course.

It was my first film shot on actual film. The camera used is the Bolex, shot on black and white film.

8.5-hour film shoot today. Very exhausting yet very fun. Filmed behind-the-scenes documentary footage/extra/crew work for "The Blind Zone" at two different locations, then did green screen work for "A School Night" with Zev and Eileen.

Also worked a tiny bit, and saw "Islander" on Exchange. Definitely recommended.

The premiere went both pretty well and pretty badly. The few days before the screening I was having some really crappy DVD-making problems that slowed down my editing and decreased the quality of the film I wanted to show. I feel really bad about that, especially since some people had come to the screening in February and came to PHS to watch only ( Read more... )

It's going well. The "Mony Mony" scene rocks. I really can't wait for the screening. It'll be fun.

I'm a little scared. I hope people like the movie.

It also feels a little weird. Friday I'll be done with it.

Today was kind of a stressful day. I'm not really sure why.
