Riddle me this: We have snow (the anxiety that this produces can be the subject of an entirely different entry). Transportation spokespeople (from all levels and municipalities) get on television and ask people to use public transit to minimize the number of incidents on the road and to maximize ease of travel under these "conditions." I am not sure why I thought it would be a good idea to have a raging weekend in NC and come back to work just to head out on the road for three solid days of focus groups (Chicago, Columbus, Tampa and back again). Seriously, all I want to do is sleep. And never drink again (until this coming weekend).

Just a couple more hours til I am OUTTA here. It is scary how the notion of ONE additional day off makes me happy. Don't be fooled, however, unlike all the federal employees, I have to use a PTO day tomorrow. Grrrr ( Read more... )
