a letter to "remember what we used to have"
our conversations are always laden with the past tense, our conversations are so intimidated by what could have been that we are frightened to converse. i wish i wasn't angry all the time but what can you do. I remember you being the one to introduce me to the music of Jeff Buckley, I remember falling in love with the songs he crooned because I had finally found names for the things swimming in your eyes, your eyes held the Last Goodbye and Lilac Wine and Eternal Life. -
Need
I need to stop congratulating myself on every little accomplishment. Think big, Hannah. Think success and happiness and stability and waking up in the middle of the night due to elation, not anxiety.
Life needs to start very soon and I have to make it happen. Or rather, I need to let God make it happen. But that's another story.
