I'm wondering if anybody knows of an agency that offers house sitters on short notice? Where would one go to find a reliable house sitter in the city? I need somebody to sleep over if possible, and most of my friends would help out, but many can't stay the night. Any thoughts/ideas?

Does anyone know when fireflies mate on the island of Montreal? That's when they light up their bums at each other. I saw them one summer in Centennial Park (DDO) and I don't remember what part of the summer. It was very cool.

With summer coming along, my amateur photography tendencies are going to drive me nuts again. So I'm asking your help: what are your favorite parks or spots for taking nature/landscape/architectural photos? I've already marked out the Botanical Gardens and the Grand Parcs, so any other spots would be muchly appreciated.

Does anyone know where I can get a US-issued stamp? I need one ASAP for a self-addressed-stamped envelope I'm sending to the States and short of running to Plattsburg, I am not entirely sure where I can get one. I've asked around at a few Poste Canada outlets but with no luck. :(
