House sitting in a hurry

I'm wondering if anybody knows of an agency that offers house sitters on short notice? Where would one go to find a reliable house sitter in the city? I need somebody to sleep over if possible, and most of my friends would help out, but many can't stay the night. Any thoughts/ideas?

Time frame - perhaps the end of the week? But that all can change within a day or two. ..

And as for a tourist residence, the time that I actually do go away is not often enough to merit putting my house on the "auction block". Just needed somebody to keep an eye on my place and my cats...

I heard there was an agency somewhere that people will come over and baby sit your cat/dog for a few hours a day when you are away. I'm just worried about those little critters cause it's gonna be so hot over the next few days, and I don't like the idea of running air conditioners all day and night when we are away...

And our cats are too neurotic to board them...

but am still wondering if there are any "bonded" housesitting agencies in montreal...
