New web toy
A while back, Marla had an email address someone had copied and pasted that wasn't working. I took a look at it and eventually found that it had a non-printable special character inside it (I think the character is called "zero-width whitespace" or something like that). I took a couple minutes today to make a little Javascript tool that'll help ( Read more... ) -

Tipping
Hm the question on AMA about tipping pizza delivery people got me thinking about trying to switch tipping systems. First off: I think the best system would be for food places to pay their employees a better wage and for tipping to become unnecessary, but I'm powerless to change that, so I'll ignore it :P ( Read more... ) -
Too secure? :(
Re: the most recent post, I use(d to use) a Wordpress plugin called Wordbooker that would automatically post things to Facebook. Either it broke or Facebook broke it or something, but it doesn't work anymore. Here's a really odd error message Facebook gave me while trying to investigate. "Your connection is too secure"? I'll work on that, Facebook.
