Sometimes I wish I wasn't trying to avoid excessive or sharp profanity in my writing. Because I'm at a line where "fucking" is about the only word that carries the proper emphasis.

I never really realized when reading the book a couple years ago, but Allan Cole's novel "When the Gods Slept" is basically a high fantasy version of "Becket." Huh. No wonder I liked the book more than I normally probably would have.
