The robot apocalypse is basically inevitable because there are a lot of people out there who would do it just to see if they could, and someday one of them is going to have both the ability and opportunity.

Story seed: life in this universe is used as a punishment by beings of another universe, who drop a convicted criminal's soul/consciousness into an "empty" shell to live out a lifetime here as a prison sentence (from their point of view, we're basically just p-zombies, and so no moral offense accrues from using us in this way). Random strange dreams sometimes give me game ideas. Unfortunately, these are more often video game ideas than RPGs, which means they're not exactly something I can execute readily.
