"Actually, I think you're on to something." Bruce Wayne strolled into the room, ignoring everyone swiveling to stare at him in turn as he spoke to Napier.

BRUCE HAS A HAND IN CREATING 'THE JOKER'. EVEN IN THIS UNIVERSE. OH THIS WARMED THE DARKEST, BLACKEST COCKLES OF MY HEART, THANK YOU.

And I spent the first few minutes of reading this chapter basically repeating she didn't to myself over El Dragon! The Superdictionary is my new favorite wrestling gimmick XD

I'm on the edge of my seat for the future Gotham Screwjob - I'm speculating at the speed of light over what the logistics will be.

AND AAAH YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE US HANGING LIKE THAT. REUNION TIMES. *flails*

I knew he had to come back soon, and I knew Red Hood had to become Joker, and I finally figured out they should probably happen together, duh!

The Superdictionary is my new favorite wrestling gimmick XD

OMG, when I was trying to think of luchadores to use Dan said, "Well, you know El Dragon would totally work!" And then we laughed for a very long time.

I couldn't resist the little hint of the Gotham Screwjob! It's still quite a ways in the future, muahaha...

Reunion cliffhangers might just be the worst kind! MUST GET TO WORK ON THAT.

Yay! I'm glad Clark is getting some enjoyment out of being the Kryptonian. So fun that there's debate over who would win between him and Bruce. :D

Eep! Napier! And Bruce helping him to come up with the Joker gimmick! *screeches*

REALLY BRUCE!? THAT'S ALL YOU'RE GOING TO DO AND SAY?!

Hehehe, the idea that there would be heated debates about who could kick the others' ass makes me really happy. :) It's always true, apparently!

REALLY BRUCE!? THAT'S ALL YOU'RE GOING TO DO AND SAY?!

Pffft, he's got a lot more planned than that! Just...you can't do most of it in a crowded room, muahaha. :)

Now I'm picturing Joker as being like Matt Borne's original version of the Doink gimmick, the terrifying, psychotic heel clown that was, in many ways, inspired by the '89 version of the Joker.

Basing a fictional wrestling gimmick on a real wrestling gimmick that was a version of a comic book character is one of the craziest things about writing this world, lol. There is just way too much cross-pollination...

And poor Jean-Paul. Someone needs to remind him that it's better to work a little too snug, a little too stiff, and leave someone black and blue but have it LOOK good, rather than work as loose as Hogan did, and never injure anyone, but to show about three feet of light on every shot, tooIt's true, wrestlers can take a fair amount of abuse without complaining about it! I bet he's really good for exactly that reason, he errs on the side of real impact without (usually) actually hurting anyone ( ... )

I loved seeing how Clark was adjusting to be the heel - how he managed to make the Brainiac gimmick work and become a genuine star. And I had a belly laugh over the eternal question: The Kryptonian Versus El Murciélago: Who Would Win?

I also loved the section with Napier flipping out - it was kind of unnerving wondering just how far he'd go. I see some epic battles with Bruce to come!

Yay, I'm thrilled! It is indeed an eternal question... *grin*

I noticed that too when I was writing it, and I think part of the fun tension in writing this is wondering how serious it's going to get, so to speak--how close to the "real" Joker he might come...

OH GOD THE SUPERDICTIONARY. I laughed so hard imagining a gimmick based on that--it's so crazy, it just might work.

Heyyyy, they're in a crowded common room, cut Bruce some slack! :) He has some definite plans re: semi-public displays of affection soon enough...
