WOW just wow! Fantastic chapter! I am so glad that Clark is realizing the worth of the Kryptonian! I remember on smallville when Clark was Kal he had that aura about him the way he held and presented himself. I can so see him using that here for the character.

I loved how Bruce came back and was there to put strength into the Joker character. I'm sure things will heat up between The bat and him in future matches. I wonder if this joker will be as possessive of his bat?

I love the who will win the kryptonian or El Murcielago! What a hoot! Everyone knows who would win that match. ;-)

And a handshake? really bruce? *raises eyebrow* Grab that boy and hug him! LOL Wonderful Wonderful chapter!

Superman/Clark does make a good heel when done right (and temporarily!), I'm really glad that comes through!

*grin* Apparently people will never get tired of asking it, though...

There will be...hug-like...things in the future! Bruce is a little unclear on the concept of physical contact outside of the ring, I'm afraid... ;)

I'm having a LOT of fun writing the next chapter! It'&s wonderful to get the boys back in the same place...

I loved Clark liking his heel turn because he's helping others get over. He's not having fun, but he's satisfied! ;)

Heh, heh, the Great Debate!

Jack could very well become obsessed with Bruce in the ring, remembering how Bruce gave him the idea and since he's on the edge of unstable (I worry about his pregnant wife and what might happen during the birth and would her loss send Jack over the edge?) he could mix up fantasy with reality.

Mmm, chocolate pudding! ;)

Isn't that so Clark? Even when he's a "bad guy" he's happy to be helping other people...

And the Great and Never-Ending Debate indeed! :) No matter where they go, people are going to argue about that...

Joker is an interesting challenge in this world! I never want him to get TOO dark in "reality," but there always feels like there's a risk of it, doesn't there? *ponders*

I totally see Napier ending up, backstage, ending up kind of like Ole Anderson did--a bitter, mean old cuss who thoroughly enjoys human misery. Not a guy who is DESPISED backstage or is unprofessional enough to shoot on people just for fun, but someone who's generally considered something of a "miserable bastard" by the rest of the locker room--Ole was actually pretty well-liked backstage, but everyone knew he wasn't a happy, friendly person. (Taz is known for a similar personality, from what I've heard.) Hell, Foley's first book, he mentions that after one of Cactus Jack's more brutal beatings in WCW in the late 80s/early 90s, Lex Luger jokingly checked Ole for a boner because of his known enjoyment of other people's misery. XD ( ... )

Oh, I can totally see that, actually!

We figure he mauls unnamed jobbers and training camp kids on a fairly regular basis when building up for a big match, in matches that aren't played out "on camera," as it were, to keep his heat and stay looking dangerous.

Yes, that makes perfect sense as a way to keep your heel a threat and yet have them lose to the "right" faces all the time. :) And I agree Clark could totally play that kind of role and it would give him a ton of satisfaction, trying to help new wrestlers show their talents to their best effect and see what they had...

YES BRUCE IS BACK! I've been so excited for the return of Wayne-senpai.

I know he hates being a monster heel but Clark is wonderful at it -and- he's helping guys get over. Good guy Country Clark. He's a heel but he's still all Clark.

Poor Napier. :( Since Bruce is back I'm sure he'll make the gimmick work for Napier. Poor baby!

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT BRUCE TOO. Writing is always hard when he's not around...

I'm as happy as you are that Clark has found a good way to be a heel (a good heel and a good person!) I wasn't sure he was going to be able to manage it at first...

Napier's going to be okay (in his own way!) ^-^ But I did like the idea of Bruce being the person who "inspired" him...

But, I got over it quickly when Shawn Micheals became a thing. (He's hot..don't judge lol.)

I would never! He manages to sell it whether he's a sexy boy toy or the grizzled born-again guy with regrets he is now... :)

And don't they fit together well? I'm always so tickled when someone who knows the history of wrestling enjoys this, because there's such a satisfying feeling to finding places where it clicks together... And yes, you're absolutely right about the WCW/WWF parallels, yay! I love the way things work without being identical, you know? It's so fun to see what echoes and resonates...so many wrestlers explicitly cite superheroes as their inspiration that it goes back and forth a LOT!

*runs off to write a reunion!*

Oh, oh, Bruce is back, yay! :D And I love what your doing with the Joker, he's just the right amount of freaky.

BUT - EL DRAGON. OMG.

"I will defeat you, Kryptonian!" announced El Dragón, pointing dramatically. "I will beat you in a fight!"

"You are a cruel man," said El Dragón. "You are a bad person who likes to hurt other people. I hope I will stop you. I wish and believe that I will stop you."

OMG AHHAHAHA! That is the best! :D

Looking forward to the next chapter! :) (Tiny comment due to busyness!)

EL DRAGON. Dan mentioned he'd be perfect and I started laughing and couldn't resist writing him! Because YES. :)

And Bruce is back and I am so happy! *dances* Though not as happy as Clark!
