It has been a while since I posted anything and also since I played with any photos. Work has been a bit demanding and has eaten all my time. A fire dancer in front of the Cathédrale Notre Dame in Paris. Walking home to our room late one evening in Paris with Janna and Elizabeth, we caught this beautiful fire dancing show. Sometimes all you need is the camera you have. I took this the other night with my Iphone, late at night with no makeup, as someone pointed out to me I haven't done much recent self portrait work. I really like how it came out despite the simple tools used to capture it. I think I need to start working on self portrait work again as I am feeling ( Read more... )

So recently you know I was in New Orleans and of course I took a lot of pictures. On a cloudy and overcast day I wandered the cemeteries with Jen and Melissa. The rows and rows of graves felt like beds for the dead. I could kind of understand how you might want to reach down to the ground and and feel them all somehow. So here is a pic....
