Sometimes all you need is the camera you have. I took this the other night with my Iphone, late at night with no makeup, as someone pointed out to me I haven't done much recent self portrait work. I really like how it came out despite the simple tools used to capture it. I think I need to start working on self portrait work again as I am feeling the lack of creativity lately, I have just been so busy. I have also been rather quiet on the LJ front, so here is a little update. Things are going pretty well at work. I feel like I jumped the fast train to busting my butt. But I think good things are afoot along with a lot of hard work. I have been sequestered a bit at work but I think I will be able to come out of that soon. I like Sweden immensely. I think this may end up being a permanent move or at least it has that potential, I am so much happier here than I have been in a long time. I also have met an interesting boy who is sweet, funny, and a lot of joy to be around and we will see where that goes but it is early early days and everything might go horribly wrong ....that does seem to happen in my love life. He has made me rethink some of my viewpoints quite strongly in a surprisingly short period of time and that is not easy to do to me. I am heading home to Seattle/Portland to visit August 28th-September 7..save some room in your calendar.
