We saw an actual old medieval Christmas play staged at the Folger last night, with a lot of really old music to pad it out, since it was kind of short. Naturally the music proved the highlight of the evening. I recognized one of the songs from singing in Sweet Briar's choir, and another one from the Sweet Tones. I got an A in Systems Analysis! Apparently Dr. Wang really liked our project. He said he's email us more feedback, but he hasn't yet. Though I think he might just be a lenient grader. Probably didn't do too well on the final last night. By this morning, I was hoping to see something to cheer me up. But at first it looked like I wasn't going to see anything, because turns out the Daum player is a tempermental entity. Why'd it have to occur the day of the final? Now I have to venture out through about two feet of snow and still coming down! If this doesn't stop by tomorrow I might have to worry about my train. Saw The Golden Compass today. I really wish it wasn't flopping, especially because it means the second movie probably won't get made now, and this movie would do much better if the other two were made.
( But it does have the classic problem of textbook adaptations )
