After a dinner party conversation last night, I've decided I really like the name Dane. It sounds very stable. Tall, dark-haired, crooked grin. Dane. Know anyone who fits the bill?

I'm happy to be home for the first time in almost two years. It's difficult, yeah, because it's the holidays and I get really emotional and "I don't have a family like everybody else," but this time is different. I'm home in Kansas. I'm safe. My trip home took 25 hours, thanks to a delay at London Gatwick. The plane was supposed to leave at 10:15, but sat on the tarmac for 2 hours because of "engine problems" or some sort of b.s. So we left at 12:15, causing me to miss my connecting flight from DFW to Kansas City, but somehow I lived. I got into Kansas City ( Read more... )
