On fencing and writing

Last night at the club, I fenced four bouts, and three of my opponents had equipment malfunctions. I think for two it was their body-cords, and for one, their blade. I don't mind so much, but at tournaments, god, people can get nasty about it. At Midwest last year, there was a girl in my pool, and it was her first time competing, ever. One thing I did think about the two katana thing - does he do one-defense-one-attack? Usually that's how it works, or else you kinda go nuts.

I think there's a fighting style where you can attack with both, but you kinda have to split your mind a bit, and the defense can be weak. BUT if you're fast (or Ryuichi) you can attack both at once.

Better still when you're using two different weighted types of weapons, and confuse the hell out of people.

Ko doesn't care though! :D Makes life interesting to spar with Ryuichi.

And as writers, we always put a little something of ourselves into our characters.

No matter how much sex I write my characters doing, I find it difficult to have them conceive of sex unless I've read OF them doing it. Or thinking it.

Like, "Oh, this is a situation where Kakashi would be lustful. Okay, insert lust here."

He uses one for attack, one for defense, but alternates on the fly. There would be times when he goes crazy and attacks with both, but it's not as effective; you need to use more strength.

Hehe. Confusion is a shinobi tactic.

......okay, where did that come from? XD

No, that makes complete sense! I always try to work from an example, so I know at least the direction I should be taking with it, especially with writing the pornz stuff.

Hehe. Our characters have parts of us, yet they're very different.
