 I haven't posted in forever. Most of the time I don't feel like I have anything in my life worth blogging about - which is amusing, considering I read other people's blogs just to hear about their lives. But that's me. I'm a little strange.

 We got a foot and change of snow yesterday and it got below zero today. The plow didn't get here until three this afternoon, so we were stuck at home. One of our neighbor's got stuck in the road trying to get home, so my dad and I teamed up with the engineering students next door to dig her car our and help push her the last twenty meters.  My faith has been restored in my school's fencing team.

I'll explain: I've been having a rough month, not helped by the fact that instead of doing blade-work at the club, I'm stuck at school until six PM doing conditioning and yelling at underclassmen who goof off more than they concentrate.  Atlanta was very hot. There were a lot of hotels, restaurants, and not much else. (My mother was rather shocked by the Hooters waitresses standing outside in their uniforms - I don't think she's ever seen orange booty shorts before).  Everybody deals with stress differently. I have a friend who blasts her eardrums out listening to death metal. Another friend who plays computer games. Me, I tried the eardrum-killing thing for a while. Disturbed is a good band for it. Especially "Indestructible". It works to a certain extent. Clears my head for a while. A while ago--back around Christmas--I gave a draft of Lithium to my aunt so she could read it. I was hoping she could give me some feedback as an artist, and she'd been asking to read it. She finished it a few days ago and finally sent me the feedback. Now I'm starting to regret letting her read it.
