We got a foot and change of snow yesterday and it got below zero today. The plow didn't get here until three this afternoon, so we were stuck at home. One of our neighbor's got stuck in the road trying to get home, so my dad and I teamed up with the engineering students next door to dig her car our and help push her the last twenty meters. Winter's in full swing. And I have pictures ^^
This is where our back steps usually are. We've been meaning to fix the railing, really....
This is our backyard. Look at the pretties!
More backyard!
And my boots.
The cars got buried. We had to dig the whole driveway out.
Front yard and the street. Or where the street usually is. See the fire hydrant? That's where my neighbor got stuck. She couldn't quite make the turn.
More buried cars.
And yet another buried car. The students next to us came out in their pajamas. And without gloves. It's pretty obvious who's from out of state. We lent them gloves and a shovel and then I gave them half the cake I'd baked because they helped us clear our driveway.
The front steps.
Trees.
More trees.
Today was much brighter, though a whole lot colder. We got below zero for the first time this year.
But that didn't stop Sombra from running around like a fool, the lovely little ditz.
And there was yet more shoveling.
