Anya - Four Months!

Ok, I don't know what happened.  Yesterday was three months, I swear.  I blink and a month goes by.  If this is how the rest of this goes, I'd like to know where the pause button is, please.

Don't worry too much if she wants to eat in the night. The doctor's books are clueless to the actual behavior of real breastfed babies. Few of them actually go the entire night at this age without wanting to eat. In fact, most of them probably want to eat more than once.

yeah, I'm not going to quit doing that any time soon, though she did end up going 7 hours between feeds last night...whoa. I was so surprised, because I thought she'd be waking herself up constantly because of the free arm. But, no...slept right through it. Weird. I decided to start quit swaddling because she kept waking herself up working herself out of the swaddle. I'd walk up to the crib and she'd have both arms out. So, I guess it's time! :)

My doctor actually breastfed her 3 boys till they were each about a year old, so I feel really good about her advice. I feel pretty lucky I found her.
