Geez... I'm not into future-fic. Don't care for AUs and crossovers. But this whole universe thingie you've got going on here with Alec and Dean and Sam? Abso-freakin-lutely love it. I wanna bake them all a pie. Hell, I wanna bake you a pie. And the idea of a 40-something Dean is so incredibly appealing to me that I think I'll shut up before I embarrass myself.

Whew. I swear I've been holding my breath for a solid month. :-) This is awesome. Love Alec coming back to himself - finally! - and Dean's love and caring for him reduced me to utter goo. Strangely, though my heart breaks for Alec wanting his dad, and feeling his dad shut him out, I'm strangely encouraged that Sam did so gently and with that sense of regret. Dare I start hoping, now?

Yay! I'd wondered what was happening with the heat fic. Poor Alec is freaking the fuck out, huh? And I love in control, careful, protective Dean. Dean's such a good dad, even if he's not biogically responsible for the creation of Alec. (Hi Sam! Hi! Why aren't you helping more? Hi!)
