Suzi's going to be taking the citizenship test very soon, which is fine by Whistler. He's promised not to hack the results, not even to find out what they are in advance, so the only thing he's really got to do that can help her out is prep work. Suzi is settled into a seat near the fire, knitting. She's got three toy animals dangling from her needles. The yarn is almost as bright as the headband she's wearing.
The Heavy has found his way out to the firing range by wandering around outside, finally. Sasha stayed in the room because--frankly, because she was too expensive a date to fire for any longer than 2 seconds, and that was no good.
So there is a very tall, very thickly-built man out at the firing range, making headshots with a shotgun, and cackling

Suzi enters Milliways with her knitting bag, finds a comfy chair over near the fire, and starts up her usual routine of knitting small animals while watching the people. Because it wasn't nearly as long for her as for the bar it's really really weird to see the different people

Today was one long string of busts from a little before sunrise to just before the close of the financial markets, then a breather, then two more busts. Ray would say October is starting early except that October already started early, given some of the seismic readings coming out of the Pacific and the number of tourists in Caribbean hotels
