► WARDEN FILTER (which includes the T-X... reluctantly):

Do we have an emergency protocol for when shit gets too real in here?

Are there any exploitable situations we should be aware of, in the event anyone decides to take advantage of the state of the barge?

► Private to the Admiral. )

Not exactly. People tend to band together and wait it out, or try to confront the problem directly, otherwise it's usually every man for himself. People have tried to set up bases to keep people safe with some success during past emergency situations ( ... )

[ Well that... irritates his military sensibilities, but fine. ]

People do better with routine when they're freaking out.

Any particular inmates to keep an eye out for? [ a beat. ] Besides mine.

[It irritates him too. :C]

Routine and structure are irritatingly lacking here.

Do you want people who might lose it, or people who are going to take advantage of the situation?

Good thing this isn't a rehab facility. [ DEADPAN. ]

Why discriminate.

Not really. In general, in the past, we've banded together, but I don't know if that will happen now. I'm hopeful.

You'd think people would prioritize.

You been okay?

I'm certain we will once things get even weirder. In the mean time, there are people you can trust, but I'm certain you've met them already. Una, Kay, Sev, Dick, Tim, Tosh, Trip, T'Pol, Cissie, Molly, Both Doctors, Narvin, Will, Merlin, Kirk, McCoy, John Locke, Lupin...

Yep, I'm fine. Did I already give you a bag with emergency supplies?

Not yet.

No emergency protocol.

Besides, whoever controls the ship controls the network. [CONVERSATION IS GOING TO BE HARD!]

Fucking fantastic. [ WELP. ] Face to face relay?

Best we can do depending on how much he's listening in.

Final resort options are using just the psychics and those that can receive radio signals.

Someone might eventually have to get to the Admiral's cabin. Hopefully they won't get fucking kicked from the ship like a dozen other people. [And there, he's said that in case he ends up getting kicked.]

[ ... Psychics. Great. ] I've got hand radios. About it.

Where'd they get kicked to? [ With less reservation about the idea than any sane person should have. ]

There are too many rampant individualists here for any agreed upon protocol. Unfortunately. [It hurts his bureaucratic, defense-agency soul.]

The lab, the engine room, the infirmary, and the food stores are the places an inmate with a strategy would be most likely to hit to cause chaos. Usually they aren't that organized, however. More common is a lone wolf carrying out senseless murder in the stairwells.

I'm all for individuality when conditions aren't shit.

Great.

Oh, I'm all for a responsible degree of individuality in its proper time and place, but all too often here it borders on anarchism when order is needed.

What I'm wondering is... is there any way for us to know if the Network is being tampered with? Who actually controls it? If it's the Admiral, well.

Maybe we should be brainstorming ways for people to, uh. Call for help in the event that the Network shuts down or becomes compromised? [Just covering all her bases, here.]

It's probably already compromised.

I've got walkie-talkies; I gave one to a woman named Jane, but I don't know if they'd work. Whatever's been screwing up the network could very well be airwaves.

That's true; I just mean compromised in a way that would make it impossible to send, say, a request for help via the network.

"Try to stay in groups" is good advice, I suppose, but everyone has to be alone sometimes.

What I imagine we're going to have to try and do is establish a check-in pattern with watch shifts, and go look for anybody who doesn't actually check in.

Or I would if I thought anyone might cooperate on a large scale. Things might be too chaotic.
