► WARDEN FILTER (which includes the T-X... reluctantly):

Do we have an emergency protocol for when shit gets too real in here?

Are there any exploitable situations we should be aware of, in the event anyone decides to take advantage of the state of the barge?

Not really. In general, in the past, we've banded together, but I don't know if that will happen now. I'm hopeful.

I'm certain we will once things get even weirder. In the mean time, there are people you can trust, but I'm certain you've met them already. Una, Kay, Sev, Dick, Tim, Tosh, Trip, T'Pol, Cissie, Molly, Both Doctors, Narvin, Will, Merlin, Kirk, McCoy, John Locke, Lupin...

Yep, I'm fine. Did I already give you a bag with emergency supplies?

Come get one. It's a bit bigger on the insider. [A lot bigger, actually.]

[ Knock knock! He's dressed like he usually is - worn-in military gear - though the shirt is new, probably from Paris. The jacket neatly hides the fact that he's armed; he stopped carrying anything more visible a good week ago, after the reactions. ]

[Martha opens a door to a room that looks like it was a dungeon at one point, but is now overflowing with workstations and bookshelves. Smiling at him, Martha lead him into the room and then she moved over to one of the worktables that she's covered with an assortment of medical supplies, food, water and bags small enough to fit into a pocket.]

[ He smiles in greeting, and though he notes the decor he isn't thrown by it. Wizard inmate, and all. ]

Looks like we'll be bracing for impact one way or another with October.

Pretty much. I had hoped that things would even out, but...

[Martha sighed and picked up one of the small bags so little it was designed to fit into a pocket. Handing it to him, Martha smiled.]

Open it. There's plenty of room left, in case you wanted to add ammunition or something to it.

I'm trying to see who all's got a clear head, but people seem inclined to keep to themselves.

[ Which is at least better than panicking, his tone seems to imply. He takes the bag and, not really sure what to expect, opens it up, and... pokes around?

... The look on his face is, without a doubt, the most extreme bit of emoting he's ever done on the Barge to date. What. What. ]

Told you it was bigger on the inside.

[Martha grinned at him for a moment and then shrugged.]

Sev did it with magic.

[ So far John's been able to rationalize away stuff like magic by looking at it form a distance or, in Bellatrix's case, attempting to grasp it as metaphysical phenomenon linked to a culture beyond his reality.

This is, he supposes, about the same thing. But that doesn't mean he isn't having a kind of hilarious Mary Poppins moment, here. ]

... Well magic's pretty fucking cool. [ Said staring at the space where his hand should be sticking out the other side, and yet it's not. ]

[Martha watches him with a fond smile, amused by the fact that he's looking at it in the same way that she did with the TARDIS, or like she did when she was at Diagon Alley.]

It really is brilliant. And thank god we've got people who can do it. Light, warmth, transfiguration... We'd be rather in trouble if we didn't have it at the moment.

[ John is an innately curious person; in recent years it's manifested as a mercenary streak, callously stealing and refitting things beyond humanity's scope to use for their own. This mood is a throwback to simpler times. It's an unexpected, but pleasant, moment amongst all the darkness the barge has to offer this week. ]

Does magic stay constant on board?
