Don't worry about a dull post, once you do that it seems that no post is interesting enough to share here... and I'm interested in your life!

*hug* Thank you! I'm interested in your life too...your boy is so darn adorable and funny, you could write a book about him and it'd be a bestseller. :)

Re: sci-fi films: totally agree. It's easy to find fun sci-fi, but you don't run into the good, solid ones a whole lot. I'll have to check this one out.

Oh you won't regret this one..."Moon" is awesome and really, it deserved a bigger audience than it got. Definitely check it out.

Those shoes look totally comfy, and now I kinda want a pair!! *L* I sometimes walk around the office in room slippers -- lots of the Japanese staff does it and it's COMFY, so no one judges! XD -- and these would be awesome.

Glad to hear you're busy with orders and it sounds like Char's doing great at school. Good for her! ^_^

And I miss snow. :(

The Skechers are SO awesome...they feel like comfy slippers but they support my feet better than my hiking boots do. I'm thinking of getting an extra pair for around the house.

Come visit me in January! You can have all the snow you can stomach! ;)

Your description makes the movie sound awful, at least awful for *me*...not gonna watch it! :)

They ARE ugly but shoes that make your whole body feel better, well...it really doesn't matter if they're neon orange with purple flashing lights on the toes. Anyway they're 'ugly' in the kind of way you sort of like, imo :)

I saw the last HP in theaters...it WAS rather good. Entertaining to watch pretty much the whole way through. That's really all I want from a movie. (I don't like disturbing or sad, let alone disturbing AND sad. Damn Swing Kids, how I wish I never watched you...)

You've talked to me about religion and politics. :) (Though I'm so neutral in general that it might not quite qualify, heh. Is it even a conversation?)

I have to go to bed early, now, maybe even this minute. Was in Ottawa with mom and both sisters and now I'm trashed...but I'm 3 sweaters and 2 blousey shirts richer (but some $$ poorer. Not many, though, there were a lot of sales.)

Yeah, it's definitely not the kind of movie you would like. It's dark and definitely pretty sad ( ... )

*I* bring up those things? I don't know how, when I know nothing about them. Well, politics, anyway. I don't even know what I am. I mean, I don't ascribe to a party anyway but I don't know what my views would be counted as. Though being Canadian, in the US I'm sure they'd be considered Liberal (er...darn, what's that called there? Democratic?) since almost all Canadians ARE well on the liberal side as far as the US reckons things.

I got a really pretty one with an oval cowl neck and no sleeves in black silk with cream and burgundy flowers (not a large pattern, though, that looks really good on my quarterback-esque shoulders. :) (Looks okay on my not-so-quarterback-esque DDs, too.) The sweaters...well they're kinda boobalicious, as mom would say. I was wearing a camisole at the time and am not now and the difference is more obvious than I was expecting. :)

I have 2 new (cheap) pair of shoes too but they are neither clunky nor ugly. Nor comfortable. But cute, yep. :)

Glad you get to see Charlotte! Nice that you live relatively close; I used to have to take 12-hour Greyhound trips across the damn West Texas desert to get home for breaks, early on in college. I only flew a time or two, and even then there was no airport in Las Cruces--had to cross the border and go to El Paso.

She has a boyfriend who is crazy to see her, and he lives here, so he's willing always to drive out there and bring her back. :) I bought him a Tom-Tom so he can get there quickly & safely. Least I can do since he's taken packages to her and he's bringing her home for the holidays.
