I only have an answer for Q1...why not keep doing the inside-out thing for the entire rest of your period? That way you can see how it will go for all the different days of your period, and if it goes well, then cut it off before next period :D

Also, I don't know that there's terribly much difference between the cervical position for the different days of the period...the "cycle" as mentioned in most literature is speaking of the whole period-to-period cycle, and the height changes slowly from day to day.

The sales posts tend to go pretty quickly... I would make a tag for them, but I don't know how helpful it would be, since by the time I log on they're usually already sold! :P However, if you have a look at the "where to buy" tag, that might help you find cheap places to look. :)

I personally have trouble folding in the rim for removal because the outside of my cup is really slippery. I just pinch the base then rock it back and forth until it comes out.

I hate my stem as well but I need it for removal so I'm currently debating how much of it I can snip of for it to be comfortable but still long enough for me to grasp.

2. i pinch the bottom of my cup with my thumb, index and middle fingers, pushing my thumb into the cup between my two fingers to kinda fold the cup into a partial C fold before removing. somebody here describes it like playing got your nose.

I pinch at the bottom, which pulls the top away from the sides, and breaks the seal.

I also have a small Diva Cup and some storage pouches available for sale here: http://community.livejournal.com/menstrual_cups/2167579.html .
