So, as I mentioned, I'm pregnant. To be precise I'm 3 months pregnant (or as the books put it - 13 weeks). This means the baby (Tadpole) is now about 7.5cm long and is due in the middle of April.  Taken my first day off work (due to illness) in 8 years.

I almost lost my voice yesterday and, although it felt a bit better today, I knew that 6 hours at the front of the classroom would probably hurt my vocal chords lots, so I've been mooching quietly around the house all day reading Phillip Pullman's the subtle knife and eating soft food.

 On the plus side - Livejournal appears to be working again.
On the minus side - I've got a horrible snotty cold.

Thanks for all your advice and comments about weddings. My head is feeling in a slightly better place about the whole thing now. Talking to my Mum has also really helped.

I'm still over the moon to be marrying Rarg, but I'm now feeling daunted about organising the 'special day'. Obviously (because it's us) it won't be a very traditional day, but I can't figure out what will be different about it.
