Saw these guys playing in the street during the Edinburgh Festival

5 big, long haired guys beating drums and one guy with bagpipes. I even got their CD (poorly mixed unfortunately)

Oh yeah - any of you in Oz remember when Jo and I went to Vanuatu about 12 years ago and met "Sydney Matt" on the way back?

Found his new band on mySpace the other day (yes I was on mySpace but I still don't have an account... I loathe it really, I do)  It is called Death Mattel. They have been doing the rounds of Sydney for a while it appears.

After the weekend I was left in a curious mood. As I was wandering through my hall area tonight (when I finally bothered to turn on the light) and noticed a little package on the ground that I had missed in the darkness.

Along with my "you do not get a pay rise" letter I received a CD from my parents.
