Ok how often do you meet someone that you find you just click with?

How often do you meet someone who just seems to "get you"?  Or if they don't "get you" then they are just happy to let you be yourself - no stress and no expectation?

If you do find someone like that are they worth clinging to? trying for? waiting for?

I do not recall a time ever where I have woken from a dream crying.

Except for today

Wet pillow, tears flowing, tense breathing - the works really.

Major changes and stresses at work this week - which I will not go into.  While none of it directly affects me it still makes the clinic a stressful place to be.  I am off til Monday so that helps.

For me this week has been one for realising the blindingly obvious.

Today, which I anticipated would be a bad day (especially after being woken at 7am) has in fact been a good day.

I found out that I am not working the entire shift solo tomorrow and that is a huge relief.
I did an eye enucleation at work - my favourite surgery (I don't know why but I love it) and I have not done one in ages.
