When Kurt walked into the Glee room and saw Quinn Fabray sitting there, he balked just briefly before he stuck his nose in the air and brushed past her primly without even acknowledging her. He bit back any urges to tell her not to sit too close in case Satan claimed her and sat as far away from her as he could possible get. This was his first Glee practice since he managed to get himself diseased, and it was probably a miracle he didn't die. It had been touch and go for about two days there. He wanted to die glamorously, like a heart attack on stage, or in the middle of Louis Vuitton, not drowning in one's own mucus.

The whole notion of Glee Club was starting to make Jack feel like wetting himself. He had only gotten in on a whim when Mr Schue liked his version of the song he picked, and now Jack had convinced himself he wasn't going to be able to pull that trick out of his butt twice. The Glee practices he had attended had mostly involved him trying to blend into the background so no one asked him to sing. He really hoped that continued.

He shuffled into the room and then flopped down into the closest chair beside the blonde girl. Quinn. The Cheerleader chick. He shot her a smile. "Hey," he greeted her and kicked his bag in under his seat with his heels.

Quinn watched with brow furrowed as the blond boy approached her casually, seeming to complete disregard who she was. She crossed her arms across her chest as she look to him while he sat. "...hi," She said, her voice dripping with equal parts confusion and condescension.

"Are you going to try for a solo?" Jack continued. It wasn't so much that he didn't know who she was, more just lacked the ability to place anyone on a pedestal. She wasn't going to care whether he was sitting beside her on on the bottom of his shoe, so why not just be friendly, like he was with most people, until they gave him reason to be otherwise.

"I'm not sure anyone would appreciate that," Quinn said smugly, slouching back into her seat. "But that's certainly an idea." Quinn eyed the boy out of the corner of her eye before she finally turned to look at him. "Why is it you're speaking to me again?" She intended it to be a snarky question, but it came out more curious.

She shuffled the sheet music in her hands as she idly walked into the Glee room. Her eyes were scanning the words and notes on the white pages before she stopped for a second. Something was off. The feeling in the air was completely off, the usual feeling was aloof and even energetic at times. This? There was an enemy in their midst. Had to be. Mercedes looked up at the risers to check her theory. Her eyes widened slightly as a brow raised. Damn me for being right all the time. There, sitting in the risers was one Quinn Fabray. Cheerio leader and Christ Crusader extrodinare. Joy.

The african american girl's head shook as she made her way to a seat in front of her still sickly bestie Kurt. "Seriously? There goes the neighborhood. Damn." Mercedes scoffed to herself as she dropped her bag to the floor beside her seat before setting herself down on the plastic.

Kurt managed to pluck a packet of three-ply Kleenex from his pocket and cover his mouth and nose before he had a random sneezing fit. "She's here to make sure I don't make you all gay. She has Evian bottles of Holy Water in her bag just in case," he said thickly as he wiped his nose.

"Either that, or she thinks everyone with boobs in here is going to dry hump Flynn during practice," he added and slumped down in his chair. His energy levels were flying low, so was his urge to care much about anything in a cheerleading skirt.

The girl snorted a bit with a smile. "The real Christ Crusader huh? That's deep. Real deep. Too bad there ain't anyone Little Miss Muppet has to save up in here." Mercedes turned her seat to look at the sniffling boy behind her. "Though, being saved from your boogies? That'd be okay." She poked Kurt in his knee with a playful smirk.

"I seriously doubt she has any worries about us boobed Glee memebers. Boy's a good singer, for sure, but honey ain't got what it takes to keep up with the Glee girls." Her head nodded firmly. Her attention went back to the sheet music in her hands, eying the lyrics of Beyonce's Diva before letting her eyes glance over to the scowling blonde "looking" over her notes. Seems Jackie-boy didn't win her over. Figures.

Kurt's eyes were watering now, and he put the strange little sharp headache in his temple down to being in Quinn's presence more than anything else. "Be thankful it's not vomit, sweetness," he pointed out with a smirk as he got out more tissues. "Don't forget she's better than all of us. How could you forget that? She is so much above us, how dare we breathe her air."

"He pissed her off. I suddenly like the guy a whole lot more," he decided with a smirk, reading the lyrics over Mercedes' shoulder so he didn't have to bother dragging his own out.

Artie raised an eyebrow as he rolled into the choir room and saw Quinn Fabray sitting there, someone he never expected to see in Glee. Quinn Fabray commit social suicide? This should be interesting.

He idly wondered if she would do her usual trick of pretending she didn't know him. It was something that had amused him over the years.

He manoeuvred his chair closish to her that if she wanted to deign to speak to him, she could, if not, he could happily ignore her.

Quinn pursed her lips as the boy wheeled himself into the room and within a relatively close distance of her, looking up from her notes to watch him. As he positioned himself, Quinn pondered her current predicament. If she intended to stay here for a prolonged period of time, she would be seeing him frequently. Ignoring him surely wasn't an option. Quinn inhaled quickly before she cleared her throat.

"Hello, Artie," she said, noncommittally and toward the door.

If he could have used his legs, Artie would have fallen off his chair in surprise. Did she actually speak to him, more than just 'get out of the way'? It would be the first time in around eight years.

He pulled himself back together quickly. Okay, she wasn't looking at him, she was pretending that he didn't even exist, but that wasn't entirely new for him. "Hey, Quinn," he replied, smiling ever so slightly. "Didn't expect to see you here."

Quinn could hear the suprise in the boy's voice but chose not to acknowledge it - with any luck, she would be able to pretend as if this wasn't completely out of left field, and they would go on being able to be civil to one another even though she'd basically ignored him from second grade until now.

Quinn looked down at him now, seeing the smile he'd put on, and offered a polite one in response. "I didn't either," she said plainly, giving him a pointed look. "How...are you?" What a stupid question! was all she thought as soon as she spoke.

Tina ambled into the choir room, her steel-toed boots thumping loudly against the tile floor as she walked. She slowed a stop, realizing the room was much quieter than normal, almost tense. When she looked up and scanned the arrangement of chairs, a golden-tressed figure clad in the Mckinley school colors of red and white immediately commanded her attention. Queen Bitch Bee, Quinn Fabray, was seated in the top row. In the GLEE choir room.

Tina's eyes narrowed in dislike, and she was amazed she didn't gag at the sight of her. Not normally a hateful person, Tina was currently not very fond of the school's head cheerleader; she had always been annoyed at the girl's refusal to acknowledge Artie's existence, but now with the added disdain after her rude treatment of Kurt? And her audacity to show up in their choir room? Tina balled her hands into fists to conceal her rage and hurried to sit down next to Artie.

"Wh-what's she doing here?" she hissed to him, hoping Quinn wouldn't hear.

Artie flashed Tina a quick smile as she entered the room, but took note of her posture. It was unlike Tina to get upset by something, and even more unlike her to allow herself to show how angry she was. The source of her anger was quickly explained when she sat down.

Ah. Artie had never explained the whole history he had with Quinn, and he wasn't sure where to start, not with Quinn. He shrugged at Tina. "Not a clue. Wouldn't have thought the head cheerleader would commit social suicide like this."

"S-s-suicide?" Tina scoffed through her stutter. "Sh-she'll be lucky if it doesn't turn into m-murder first, with all the enemies she's made here." She gave a frustrated sigh, opening a random notebook and and doodling angrily in the margins to distract herself.

Tina would have tried to catch the eyes of her other friends in the room, but she couldn't bring herself to turn around and risk making eye contact Quinn. For the moment, she had to limit herself to talking to Artie. Not that she minded, of course. "S-so, um, besides today's s-sudden curveball, how's it going?"

Artie frowned, concerned. It wasn't like her to act like this. "Hey," he said gently, putting a hand on her arm. "What's wrong? You don't normally get upset like this."
