The hallways were quiet as Quinn hurriedly bustled toward the room in the music wing, her binder held tightly to her chest. It was moments before classes let out, and Quinn had been able to escape early from Cheerios practice under the false claim that she sprained her ankle and needed to rest it. As she met the doorway, she peered through the small window before she whipped open the door and hurried inside, sitting in the top row in the corner.
She crossed her legs, laying her skirt over them precisely before she heard the bell sound in the hallway. Her breath hitched slightly as nervousness boiled within her, and she swallowed roughly, waiting for the door to open and other students to trickle in. This was already off to a terrible start.
