Emerging from the grave...
So where have I been? Busy or sick or both. And it sucks.
But I actually wrote some again over the past couple of days. Not Original Fic like I wanted, nor in my usual fandom (in NCIS of all places, which is not somewhere I really wanted to go but plot bunnies hate me).

Took the plunge...
I started my unpopular pairing story, but decided to take the "safe route" and base it on one of the 100 themes challenges floating out there. The first chapter got a lot of traffic and it has been added to a lot of story alerts. I find it odd that the people adding it to their alerts don't seem to be part of that fandom. Wading into shark infested waters...Advice?
Given all the BS that has been circulating in the CSI:NY pool lately, and I can only handle so many drama llama when I am paid to do so...I have found myself watching a lot of Bones lately. Wading in the Pit
Maybe it is just me, but I have some to believe that the IQ and quality of fiction over at the pit takes a severe nosedive over the summer. Now, I know it is never the paragon of literary genius, but it seems that all the fics as of late are all in text speak or bear no recognition of the rules of grammar whatsoever! The best laid plans...
I had all these great ideas for summer, most of which involved lots of ficcing, and they seem to be quickly falling down the rabbit hole and dying in the heat. I have lots of great ideas for Original Fic, but now desire to write them. I write over at the pit and then feel guilty about not writing original fic. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I have been notably absent, and perhaps absent minded as of late. I can barely bother with things I used to hold dear. And no, this is some suicidal depression talking, I just happened to actually remember that I have a life in the real world. I am supposed to be on the road. I am not. I despise waiting on others. I finally caught up on CSI:NY last night. And by "caught up" I mean watched episodes 4 through 11.
