When this entry is at the top of my livejournal's page, the entry at the bottom will be from September 8th, 2004. Let's see (okay, looking up the current date), that's over two years in the space of 20 entries. Amazing. Simply amazing.

I missed Bastille Day.

Of course, that's not really the point. I missed July 14th which is my Livejournal's birthday. That was the one day on which I consistently wrote. Until now. I haven't been sleeping well. That may or may not mean you will get an entry this week.

It may have been 20 weeks since I last communicated to you. But did you really think I'd forget my journal's fourth birthday? I mean, it is Bastille Day after all.

It has been suggested to me quite the multitude of times that my writing here is a bit wordy, obtuse even. After giving this little to no thought, I came to the conclusion that the reader is getting off easy. For example, maybe you can read this:

ἐγὼ κακακεφαλὴ εἰμί.
