I love trains. Correction, no, I love travelling on trains. I'm not interested in engines or specifications or what-have-you. It's about the romance, and the opening of the new St Pancras Eurostar terminal has made me realise just how much I love it. So I'm back from a mad, frantic, amazing week in LA, to find myself once again unemployed. But more of that later.

For various reasons, most of which are the fact that nothing much is happening at ORC on Friday, we've postponed our road trip to LA until tomorrow. Today is a gorgeous warm, sunny day so while msilverstar worked I wandered up to Telegraph Avenue in downtown Berkeley. Arrived safely in Berkeley after a long, long trip. Unfortunately my bag didn't make it any further than Chicago, so I await it catching up with me.

The sun is actually out now after a very rainy start - looks good for our road trip to LA tomorrow!

Had an exhausting but fun 3 weeks away, did loads - saw some stuff I saw last time I was in Oz, but also lots I hadn't seen before. I have lots of photos, but will put them up in separate posts because it's going to take me a while.
