Arrived safely in Berkeley after a long, long trip. Unfortunately my bag didn't make it any further than Chicago, so I await it catching up with me.
The sun is actually out now after a very rainy start - looks good for our road trip to LA tomorrow!
On a related note: If this is true, it looks like curtains for any more big LotR conventions in the UK. Can't say I'm surprised after my experience at the Fellowship Festival in 2004. Guess I'll be travelling to Germany for RingCon from now on. *sigh*.
