Dick should really learn to not answer the phone every time it rings.

"Hello?" he asked distractedly when he picked up. He was in the middle of playing a video game.

"Hiya, Dick," Veronica said with false cheer. "How's it goin'?"

Dick's video game character immediately fell off a cliff as soon as he recognized Veronica's voice. Figures.

"I think you've got the wrong number, miss." he said. "This is...Pablo."

"Isn't there a class on how to lie effectively at Fandom High?" Veronica asked.

Piper wandered out of her room and settled on the couch with one of her textbooks. "Who were you talking to on the phone?"

She muttered something that might have sounded like "brick".
