I had a good birthday! It was a quiet day, and I worked. I asked for, and got, a food processor from my mom and aunt. D gave me SEVEN cards because she's awesome like that and I'm lucky to have her in my life ( Read more... )

Had a great day. Had to work but it was a good day. Had a food day, ice cream cake, got messages from friends, a visit from A, streamers and grumpy cat around my desk... yeah. I have truly felt incredibly loved by the people close to me in my life and so lucky to have them around me.

I'm having a bit of a moment, feeling anxious in a way I haven't for months. I don't know exactly why but I think it has to do with having a BBQ on Saturday and my mom and feeling bad for her spending money on me right now for my birthday when she doesn't have a job. This week went by super fast for me and I'm just as happy for it. This week has been SO warm and since I haven't been feeling the best with everything with my mom and whatnot I'm just as happy for the weekend to come and for today to cool off a bit.
