Thanks! Sometimes I feel really bad picking out the things that annoyed me or brought me out of the ep but often times I can't ever properly explain my feelings overall for the episode so it's all I've got, LOL.

I swore of Torchwood after RTD emotionally annihilated Jack at the end of COE. I blame Jane Espenson in the writing team for me watching "Miracle Day."

That said... I liked it. I'm trying to figure out how Jack stopped being a fixed point in time (=the reason for his immortality.)

Perhaps because EVERYONE ELSE is now immortal (although not a fixed point in time, I doubt because it's EVERYONE) it kind of acted like... a double negative and turned his off? Does that make ANY SENSE?!

I cannot express enough how much I want them to revisit COE and go back to what Jack went through and how he dealt with everything. I want to know what happened SO BADLY. I super hope they don't ignore it or gloss over it because it's a HUGE deal and we need to know if this character we love so much is still fucked up and what the hell happened to him!

I understand why Jack did what he did but I need to know that he's either still irreparably wounded or that he's dealing with what he did to his own blood. I want to know that he's still carrying that with him for an eternity and not going to be like, "lol, jk, I'm mortal now so it's okay!" or whatever.

Dunno how I feel about the premier. It's not quite the same with the show being on STARZ! but I still like it.

I agree, it definitely doesn't have the same feel to it as it did on the Beeb. But I think this is good for them if only because trying to recreate the feel of the show the way it was two years ago after killing off 60% of the main cast would be hard and perhaps even a slap in the face of the viewer who'd been loyal.

So while I don't feel the show is the same I don't think it SHOULD be, either. I'm cautiously optimistic. :)

Yeah, If their trying to get more viewers especially American viewers. It is. Because Gwen and Jack are the only ones left.
